Sarah Bradbury joins Dentists’ Provident

01 April 2013

Dentists’ Provident, the market leading provider of income protection insurance to dentists in the UK and Ireland is pleased to announce the new appointment of Sarah Bradbury as Head of Marketing & Communications.

Sarah has a wealth of experience in the dental industry, as well as 20 years in Service Marketing and Public Relations (PR) in health, education and leisure.

Sarah‘s experience in the dental industry started in 1999, managing the BDA’s relationships with dental students, VDPs  and VT Advisers, before moving to head up Dental Protection’s Marketing team for four years; until seven years ago when she took up the position of Marketing Services Manager at Denplan, ultimately leaving in April this year as Strategic Partnerships & Brand Manager managing the PR and Practice Marketing teams and all third party relationships.

Sarah will be developing and implementing new Marketing and PR plans for Dentists’ Provident with responsibilities including Brand, PR, events & exhibitions, advertising, research, literature, online, member communications and maximising relationships  with other companies in the dental industry.

Sarah said “I am very excited about this new challenge and plan to use my knowledge and experience of marketing, PR and the dental industry to ensure that there is complete engagement in, and understanding of, the Dentists’ Provident brand.”

She continued “It’s clear why we are market leader and I am very impressed so far because our members truly benefit from the company’s in-depth knowledge and experience of the dental and insurance industries; so they can customize their member contracts in the most appropriate way, to protect them against the financial consequences of illness or injury at every stage of their personal and professional life. The Claims and Member Services teams also give excellent personal service and have a truly ethical approach to claims.”

Dentists’ Provident CEO Farrukh Mirza commented “I am absolutely delighted that Sarah has joined our team. As a mutual organisation, we exist solely for the benefit of our 13,500 members and I know that Sarah’s experience of the dental profession and the contacts she has made, will really help us communicate with, and support our members even better in the future.”
